I've been reading this sub for the past months, and I'm hooked. However, some of the things said in the guide are so American that I have trouble thinking how to apply them.
I'm aware that there are a lot of differences between European countries too, so I guess I'm talking about Western European countries, but all Europeans are welcome to participate.
For example, some differences I've noticed:
- Dating is not something that exists in my country in the same way that exists in the USA.
- Dating several people is not usual, except if they are FWB or hookups.
- Formal dating (going to have dinner to a restaurant) is almost unheard of.
- Couples don't marry before living together, except for very religious people. In fact, less and less couples get married.
- Marriages keeps people's assets separate anyway.
