I've read a lot of FDSers saying that chemistry shouldn't lead one's actions but every FDSer still agrees that chemistry is necessary. What if someone is already a HVM and can't trigger chemistry in women? As a man chemistry is immediate for us, we know immediately if we're sexually attracted to someone or not, most women pass this test without problems and very little can change that, we'll keep wanting sex from her, we only assess compatibility on a date.
FDSers and women in general are more complicated, they make a distinction between chemistry and compatibility. I've read about FDSers dating good-looking HVM who had many things in common with them but still not feeling chemistry or "butterflies", this was extremely weird to read as man. They used phrases like "it felt like talking to a good friend" end similar ones. Some FDSers suggest waiting multiple dates before assessing chemistry, other believe chemistry should be felt on the first date, there's clearly not a consensus on this.
What struck me was this stickied and highly upvoted post on FDS, it made an accurate description of chemistry (unfortunately the user removed it), what exactly struck me was something that roughly went like this "Most men don't know how to talk to women while forming chemistry these days, they either fall into the Mr. Rogers category or the creep category", she also said that older men are better at creating chemistry which makes me think that chemistry from a woman's perspective does not have a lot to do with looks but with behavorial cues.
FDS firmly believes men have to make the first move but this rule clearly doesn't stop at the first approach. As a young guy who definitely falls into the "Mr. Rogers" category, can you give me some practical tips on how to trigger chemistry on a date or a similar situation? How does a respectful HVM generate chemistry? Sorry if this sounds like a low-level question but I have no experience and this problem clearly affects a lot of young men. Some guys will try PUA stuff, I believe women's advice is much more valuable but only when it's honest and doesn't try to cater to men and libfems, for this reason I think FDSers are the best candidates to answer such a a question.

Have you considered that feeling emotionally distant and disconnected, i.e. not feeling or generating chemistry could be a sign of something deeper? Such as Asperger's Syndrome, or schizoid disorder? Mr. Rogers, consistently robotically "nice" is a sign of that. Why not read up on Asperger's in relationships and see if that pertains to you?
