Yep, you didn’t sign up to dig yourself a parking spot or put yourself or your vehicle in harms way on icy conditions. Yet another reason many men do not deserve the courtesy, they don’t return it!

I think this is a moment where it's easy to label it as overreacting, but I wanted to say that I am glad you recognized this as a sign of disrespect, or at best ignorance, and decided that you deserve better. I completely agree with your decision to drop him!

It’s a polite thing to say “The entrance is on X side of the building, please park at X side it’s closer”.
Common courtesy. He couldn’t even do that...you had to figure out where to pull aside (dangerous) and THEN call him and ask where to park in snow conditions?
He’s not thoughtful or caring of your comfort or safely. I treat my uber eats drivers better than he treated you...

Definitely not overreacting. You were already doing some of the work of the date in going to meet him, then on top of it he expects you to brave Snowmageddon? Even worse was his reaction to you being annoyed by it, which was to minimize your feelings and shift blame. Hard pass.

I wouldn't want to deal with all that or with parking on the street and slogging through the snow to walk from street parking to his place. Plus, snow plows often throw salt or snow or dirty water on cars parked on the street as they go by. If he had offered to clear a space for you or park the car while you warmed up inside, that would have been reasonable. He didn't apologize or empathize with your frustration so I don't think you overreacted.

Good job! Scrotes will gaslight you into thinking you’re overreacting just because you have a low threshold for their bullshit. Let their moms put up with that!
It’s unclear from your post if this was the first time you were meeting him or if he was going to switch with you to drive your car, so I just have a few safety tips in case they apply:
-Never go to a guy’s place on the first date
-Meet at the location the date takes place instead (something could go wrong and it’s always better to have your own reliable/separate transportation so you’re free to leave anytime)
-Don’t make your vehicle known to him when meeting up for the first few dates. Get there earlier or park in a different lot to hide your car. If he’s a weirdo he could stalk you. If he’s friends with someone in law enforcement he could get them to check your plates to get more personal info. (I’ve recently been dealing with a quasi-stalker and it sucks so much that he knows my car make and can easily spot me).

The whole date idea was sketch. Why meet at his house and leave your car there? Which then would have necessitated you going back to his place at the end of the date to retrieve your car. The snow did you a huge favor!

His neighbors could do it? You can park on a side street? How about he makes sure you can park when you already made the effort to drive to him? Also he worked the whole day? What, like most other normal human beings? And now it’s on you to stay in your car and make the effort to call him while he waits comfortably inside? Nah sis you did the right thing! Also would keep my eye open if I were you. Saying you’re too sensitive is a classic gaslighting tactic in narcissist and scrote textbook. If he doesn’t apologize I would advise you to dump him.
Edit: good job not wasting your time calling him and going back home straight away!
