I'm a fuckin pussy. I'm to scared of my wife's and I'm scared to take control of my life. I don't want to do the necessary work to take the reigns. Are there any pros to not being a big pussy and owning my shit? I feel like my wife will never submit to my leadership, so I'm really trying to weigh the pros/cons of being a man/big fucking pussy. Men typically make better decisions, or at least have an easier time making them because we aren't as easily influenced by our emotions. Women can make great decisions too, but a time(or times) will come where she isn't thinking clearly and doesn't have the self awareness to say "I'm too emotional, you take the lead", so it's usually best to have the man lead by default, with her as a second opinion if you feel like it.

There's no harm in doing what she wants to do, as long as it's also what you want to do. If my first mate says "let's sail south" and I agree, I'm still in charge. If my first mate says "let's sail north" and I don't want to but go along anyway just to make her happy, then she is in complete control.

Also women have no agency, and despite what feminists will tell you, most women will jump back on the traditional gender role bandwagon if it will save her from having to take responsibility for something bad. It typically shakes out like this: wife says let's do X, husband says OK, but maybe isn't too keen, or even says it's a bad idea but goes along with it. So, you do X and shit goes south, your wife will never go "yup, I made the wrong choice", it usually ends up being something like "well, you shouldn't have let me pick X for us". The point is that you will be blamed if her ideas or plans go south, and deep down she knows it's true. A man who thinks something is a bad idea, but goes along with it anyway is a pussy.

My wife is a chaotic shitshow. I can't complain about this...I picked her specifically because I was sick & tired of controlling type A striver females...the kind who research every last purchase exhaustively, etc.

So now I have to run everything or we'd be completely fucked. Fortunately she mostly stays out of the way outside of whining for an allowance increase.
