My wife is self employed and has many clients.. all demanding of her time. She works in creative field so sometimes a solution isn't about measuring and doing but coming up with ideas and executing on them.

ANYWAY, I was stuck on this situation; She was crying because work is overwhelming and she is working all day and night to get client's work done. This is the status quo for about 1-2 years now. She is starting to feel inadequate as a mother and wife due to her contending work.

I no longer let her emotions or state of mind impact me so I provided her some comfort. Listened, agreed... gave her little "things will be OK" hug but another part of me wanted to just walk away and not give a fuck. For over a year i've been trying to assist her with getting some help (remote/virtual workers, etc..) but she never follows through.. I've gone as far as sourcing people and pre-screening them as potential sub-contractors for her work.

So whats the proper action to this? Provide comfort for an issue i've already tried to help her out of 100 times... or just continue on with my day.

In the end, my comfort hug and listening was enough to get her out of the funk.. but this will happen again shortly. I've already taken over the ownership of finances, decisions, most of the kid shit, etc...

Thanks in advance.
