Ah yeah I see what you are saying I responded too quickly - I was saying that the ILYBINILWY is 100% the reason why nothing will ever be the same - I admittedly missed the anger part in that context.

By the way its more like 15 hours a week now haha and yeah 300+ lbs to my lifts in 9 months. I get what you are saying though it certainly takes demons for a person to subject themselves to that but that doesn’t mean it’s anger. Most of the guys I train with have been through some serious shit in their lives too.

I think the thing you are not understanding is that it’s not anger, it’s apathy and it could be you are project it that way as you still feel it as anger. I can also recognize she’s not the type of woman I would now choose to be with without being angry about it - I have a choice to leave or stay she is irrelevant in that decision so why would she have any bearing on how I feel about the situation?

I’m sensing a lot more of you projecting your anger on to my situation which I get completely because I was angry for like a good 6-9 months before I moved past the second anger phase.

You are plating now right? How has that affected the value your wife can now offer you? I started doing it very selectively a few weeks ago and it has been a great balance. It helped satisfy my needs while still keeping the parts of family life I benefit from together. I don't like withholding it from my wife for the time being. I don't like the dishonesty.

The issue is much of my history has been made while I was BP and it's not the history I would have written as the man I am today. For instance, my marriage is not set up the right way; I would have entered on the condition of non-monogamy or, more likely, wouldn't have burdened myself with marriage to begin with.

I too am tempted to tell my wife and give her choices. I still care about her and she has become a way better partner; this news would be rough (yes I see the nice guy in that statement). She still has a strong masculine side, which makes her great at things like earning money but neutralizes any potential attraction between us much of the time. We still fuck, but it's nothing like plating where it's just pure, raw, polarized, animalistic sex.

Having my cake and eating it too has been a good short term solution. I'm going to better define what I want my remaining ~50 years to look like before acting further. The realty is my wife may not be a part of that vision, even with non-monogamy.
