I renovated a whole house while lifting. protein for breakfast and after a session. And stick to pushing exercises at the gym, no back or leg work on Reno days (unless you're painting in which case drink a can of HTFU)

Skipping a few workouts won't matter. Always skipping a few workouts is where you get in trouble.

Lost strength and size is easily regained so don't worry too much about it. That's not an excuse to become complacent, just saying that it isn't the end of the world. You need consistent, long term effort to grow and break personal records, but if there's a period where you can't do that it won't set you back much.

pick your priorities. My workouts have been shit all summer. My back has flaired up again, and I've been travelling too much.

I picked what was important to me at the time, and own whatever concequences are attached. Luckily, it's easy to maintain muscle with minimal effort. Benefits of 16+ years of continuous gym progress

When I go on vacations, I look forward to being able to work out more not less.

Did you know that hotels and resorts have exercise rooms? This is so Chad can stay in shape when your wife wants some cock.

I've dropped a few pounds on vacations. More than once.
