With good and frequent sex being a given, I think companionship and thoughtful actions are underrated in MRP. Probably because so many guys are getting slaughtered in the bedroom, simple companionship isn't on their radar. i.e. if you can't spend time with your wife and enjoy each other's company (not just her enjoy your company), you either aren't doing it right or you chose poorly.

It may sound too fairy tale, but being able to cuddle up and watch a movie, play a board game, go hiking, travel, goof around, etc with a woman you love (and who loves you - as best they know how) is a wonderful experience you won't get with "the guys". Also, her being good mother material goes a long way.

Also, I wouldn't say this is "after" sex, I believe they are all linked in a way. If you aren't having good sex the way you need it probably these other areas are suffering too. Also, be careful not to fall into the trap of believing that if she is having a good time/happy then by definition that means you are having a good time/happy. That is the core covert contract of marriage IMO.

If sex is all you need, make sure you're getting your needs met. Pretty simple.

My basic need is sex, but I also like having an LTR around to help deal with organization in my home. I don't mean cleaning up, I mean being able to sort things and store them well. Always has been easier than hiring an organizer or housekeeper.

Other than sex + basic organization, I have no need for women. 100% of the other needs I get alone, with my guys friends, or by paying a professional to take care of shit for me.

Welp...you're kind of fucked. Unless she's already shown a strong willingness to get better, you'll be fighting this battle for the rest of your marriage. Even if you do become a ripped up Chad McChaderton.

The world will want to guilt you into doing the "right thing" by staying with her. And perhaps that would be a path to consider had you been married 20 years and something terrible happened to her. But you're just a month in. Do you want to be dealing with all of this going forward?

If you married your wife, there must be something more you want and expect from her beyond sex. Think of what it was that made you say "yep I'm willing to invest everything I have in her".

If you honestly can't think of anything else you want from her besides sex, do both of you a favor, and cut her loose now.

I saw your post on deadbedrooms. Im gonna give you the best advice for now: DO NOT KNOCK HER UP. Use a condom and dont rely on her for contraception. DO NOT KNOCK HER UP until you have read the sidebar, manned up, she is fucking you eagerly and frequently and you figured out what you want from your relationship and your life. Dont let anyone make your life decisions for you. Keep in mind that you CANT FIX HER, but you can FIX YOU if you are willing to put in the work required. Not having kids will make you walking away much easier if you decide to.

And yes, you can expect sex from a relationship. Its a natural thing from a healthy relationship, dont let anyone shame you from wanting this. Its really up to you to have the frequency and quality of sex that you want. Its just not guaranteed that will be with your current wife.
