Why lock cheating posts?

Ive only ever locked threads if low quality, but won't remove because the comment section is worthwhile, or if comments are low quality, but the thread is good.

Considering I've never seen people use the reporting function, refuse not to feed trolls, and willfully get derailed often, im surprised there's all this interest in how to mod.

I expect the uptick in user ownership of this place will follow?

I'd wager the posts get locked because newbs and purplepillers upvote things that aren't RedPill and send confusing signals.

Doesn't bother me if my post gets locked in these types of situations.

We should be locking down on the moralizing, not locking out discussions. The little bitches here who are worried what other men do with their dicks need to go. Is MRP about fixing marriages or sexual strategy? The minute we discuss sexual strategy that does not involve the wife the shit brigade shows up to project their insecurities, fuck off.

Additionally most of these cunts have a blue pill concept of cheating. For some of us, fucking other women just means not saying no. I could drop a ton of OpSec information but I'm not going to waste my time if it's going to be removed.

Because this isn't about how to cheat on your relationship. If you want to do that go do that. This is about improving your life and having the secondary after effect of your relationship...all of them improve.

If it were just about sex then go do that. Sex is easy. Women are giving it away these days. There are forums...hell just become a PUA and be done with it. There's a reason why cheating is at the top level of dread. Your relationship is on the way out. But you don't need permission nor advice on how to cheat from here.

Yet nothing will change. Your affairs, your relationships will all be the same because you will still be the BP, validation seeking pussy you always have been.

General rule is a thread gets locked if it turns into a non-productive off topic cluster fuck.

If you've seen more than a few of those get locked then it would be from the participants in the comments getting too far off tangent.

Certain subjects tend to fuel that type of engagement. So you may notice it more , because I don't think we tend to lock things much, on those prone-to-invite-debate subjects.

A while back on mrp main there was a full on post arguing for the benefits of prostitution. And now I don't see it, but I was working on or posted a counterpoint of how I saw it as weak, so I think I may have realized my personal choice opinion didn't really fit the sub and deep sixed it rather than add to the noise.

In the end, there is a lack of consensus to the point so it is regulated to the "hobby/personal choice" section of a MAP if it isn't being referred to at the highest level of dread.

If a thread started going crazy because all of the focus was on which type of workout regimen was better...it'd get locked eventually as well.

I locked the Critical Battery/Samsung Appstore post because it was turning to shit. It was too close in time to this little purge we had. In the future comments that moralize will get nuked and the threads will remain open. In fact, I'm going to unlock that thread now (if it isn't already).

A lot people fail to realise that cheating on your SO (by cheating I mean anything physical with other women EVEN WITH your SO's permission) is like feeding a fire..

The more people do it the more it happens and the more it becomes the norm the less you can trust anyone.

This sub is about saving marriages not destroying them and without trust (in your leadership) you marriage is fucking doomed!

I understand content policing, morality moratoriums, and all the work the mods do daily to keep the discussion on topic, but to arbitrarily shut down discussions directly linked to mrp topics because they're controversial is short sighted and leads to stifling discourse.

I just quit posting in TRP forever because a basic post on how to OYS and blow through the " I have a boyfriend" shit test got downvoted to hell.

Mods set the tone and direction of their sub. Losing that means losing their core, which destabilizes the whole thing.

Subs that prioritize feelings over fixing become echo chambers where the shouting never ends but nothing gets resolved.

Fuck TRP.

Fuck those who don't have the conviction to stand up for the principles upon which their sub was built.
