I'll post more as the questions come because I'm not entirely sure how to go about this. Plus I wasn't planning on posting anything until I've finished reading the prerequisites and was at least a month or two into unplugging.

Her issue is she is stressed about work. Makes it hard to even take it serious considering she's a glorified baby sitter on a pediatric nursing floor. Kids are usually fine a majority of the time and are usually transferred out if they are sicker and her floor can't handle them. I work as a paramedic so I know kids can be difficult to take care off.

If I ask her what stresses her out about work I get the "just everything."

The problem is she says things like, "can I just stop breathing" and others that I can't think off my head. She's never actually threatened nor do I believe she actually would commit suicide. Typically this leads to just sleeping all the time.

My dilemma is the paramedic in me doesn't get the "she can't be left alone" vibe but the concerned husband feels like she needs help. If someone makes a threat like that LE comes out and they usually get transported by EMS to a hospital or by LE to a psychiatric facility.

Update: Changed her mood. I jumped the gun on posting. Chose to post over saying anything. She was upset about a surgeon transferring her patient all because she called to clarify an order. He does that very often. I told her we could cut the surgeon's car tires and break his hands. That got something out of her. She's up and I told her I was leaving for the store in 10 minutes and could join me if she wished. I barely finished MMSL and half way through NMMNG. This is all very fucking new to me being a natural beta. To those that helped thanks. To those that gave me keyboard insults. Meh.
