Guys with decent SMV and higher get plenty of action on Tinder and other dating apps. So if you're not, that's because you have a lot more work to do.

For an experiment, create the most generic female profile you can think of and use pictures that don't look good, are blurry, of a not-good-looking girl.

See how many matches you get.

Tinder is wack because of the algorithms designed to hook you into paying for the premium subscription.

Try out Hinge.

Interesting differentiation of profiles. On Hinge you have pictures obviously but you are also required to choose 3 questions/prompts to respond to that will be on your profile. For instance one prompt would be "My bucket list consists of:", another would be "Do you agree or disagree that:". You can have some fun with it.

Also on Hinge there is no "swipe right or swipe left" mechanic". When you want to like someone's profile you are forced to choose either a specific picture or prompt response to like. And when you like that specific thing you can add your own response to that as well. Gives you a lot more info to tease girls about.

Another great thing about hinge is when someone likes you, you can match with them instantly and vice a versa. No swiping right on someone and praying they happen to swipe right as well. When you like someone's profile they will get a notification that you liked them and they get the option to match and chat with you instantly.

I've been saying this for a while, you gotta hop on hinge.

Sounds like you need to work on your online game. I just recently re-downloaded some apps after deleting them for awhile. Within two days, I've already gotten a handful of matches on both Tinder and Bumble. Setup a date for this weekend with one particular match.

I think I'm an average-looking guy. Maybe 7/10. But looks aren't everything, It's your attitude and how you present yourself. In some regard, online dating is similar to cold-approaching. But in many other ways, it's drastically different.

Almost all of my pics are "action poses that show me doing something cool or fun. Some are selfies, others aren't. NO HEADSHOTS -- those are boring and conceited. For example, my pictures are: college graduation, at a football game, standing behind a mic at an event, meeting Jerry Springer, and a couple others. I swap/update them occasionally whenever I take a cool picture. Shows a wide range of my personality. That's the first step to getting women to swipe right. If you're ugly...well, can't help ya.

Next step is to have a short, funny bio. Tell a couple jokes or say something about a picture in your profile. Keep it short and simple; people don't enjoy reading blocky paragraphs of shit they don't care about. If you're pics don't show off your personality already, then you should delete the app and do something cool in real life instead.

Third step is to swipe right on anybody you find attractive. Don't auto-swipe because I wouldn't be surprised if Tinder's algorithms protect against that nowadays. It's okay to be picky.

Once you get a match, get her number ASAP. Here's an example conversation I had on Bumble today:
Her (initiating because it's Bumble) -- What are you most excited about this year?
Me -- Meeting you
Her -- I didn't expect that answer, but I'm flattered
Me -- If you give me your number, we'll setup a date and I'll blow away your expectations
Her -- How can I say no to that? (+number)

BOOM! That easy. Just set the tone and good things will happen. Remember, as an aspiring alpha male, you should always take control of every situation. You lead her. You let her know what your expectations are. If she doesn't meet them, swipe left and keep going. In this specific example, if she hadn't given her number, I would've nexted her.

Something to consider is that women use online dating for validation. See how many guys swipe right on them, and how many are willing to buy them dinner. Just keep that in mind and you'll start getting more matches/meetups.

Sometimes Tinder does do weird shit and shadow ban you so that could be the case, or you're overrating yourself on the SMV scale. Either way approaching beats tinder any day of the week.

I consider myself no more than 5/10 and I'm a 150lb and 5'9 racial minority with shitty conversational English. And even I get matches and can get number and dates. My pics weren't even that good. I think the only thing that stood out was my funny bio. Unless you're hedeously ugly, you can definitely get dates on Tinder but you gotta do it the righ way.

Tinder is all about looks. Just look at the child rapist profile. If an average-looking guy had written that shit, he would be seen as a creep. At best it would be considered distasteful. But because the guy is attractive, it's seen as a funny joke.

I absolutely hate tinder. Every girl I dated irl looked far better than the ones I got from tinder.

The only one that was hot that I hooked up with from Bumble was a girl who used to be on my sister's gymnastics team, so she recognized me.

The only suggestion I have for you is to have a pic of you doing a hobby or something cool.

Leave the tinder bullshit alone and meet girls in real life.
