Ok...here are the spoilers for what happens when you get back in touch:

She agrees to meet back up with you
You hang out, things are just like they were prior to the breakup, possibly better
Sex is off-the-charts good. Better than it ever was
You begin to question your decision to dump her
You attempt to get her back as your GF and develop oneitis
She branch swings to another dude, possibly attempting to turn you into an orbiter along the way

My advice: Wait a year before even thinking about getting in touch with her. You aren't far enough removed from the breakup and lack perspective

I did it, and although I had some action between the breakup and becoming FWB with her I had basically no other immediate options at the time. I guess it held me back in the way that it made me lazy to try and find new girls. But I was also pretty busy at the time anyways.

But do what you want, just hold hard on anticonceptives (condoms always, your own) and not doing couples stuff (no sleepovers, no staying for dinner)

Eh, I've plated 2 of my exes, they are still spinning. I made it clear they could do what they want and I'd do what I want. Works well for me. One of the girls I dated for 3 years. She now lives 4 hours away but drives to see me once every 2 months or so just for 2-3 days of nothing but sex.

She keeps telling me nobody fucks her like I do. She continually brings up getting back together but I stand firm. I think it depends on the scenario though. In both of these cases I was the one to break up with her, not the other way around. I knew I didn't want to spend the rest of my life with the girl when I broke it off so it's easy for me to say no now.

Two months? Not nearly enough time in my opinion, man.

Also, why? What does she do that you can't get somewhere else? In reality, the answer is nothing. There are hotter women with cooler personalities that you don't have this history with. It's almost always better to start working on a new project rather than trying to salvage something workable out of the scrap.
