My coffee dates are usually 20 minutes long, tops. I actually like to end them around that time because I honestly AM busy, but it also creates an interesting disconnect with women -- it proves to me if she's really REALLY into me or if she's just bored and occupying time.

I've followed up a few coffee dates with exactly what you're saying. "I actually don't appreciate alcohol, but come over time by my place, I'm cooking a meal and I have almost enough for two."

I don't take women to bars or clubs, ever.

How'd the date go?

This is more of a seduction question but I don't mind answering:

There's a technique called "time dilation". Basically, you bounce a girl to different venues to build familiarity rapidly. That's the whole point of a good first date.
You should learn some self control while drinking. You don't have to be an idiot after drinking ONE beer or mixed drink. It's extremely uncomfortable to go on a date and be the only one drinking.

In response to the food fight in the comments section: For me, Instadates are a big waste of time. They're just extremely awkward and feel forced. It puts too much pressure on both parties and that alone can get in the way of proper seduction. The easiest thing method: strike up a conversation with an HB, ask if she's single, plan a future date, get her number.

Simple. You go to the bar and order her drink, and you order a soda with lime for yourself, and tell her it's a vodka soda. I've done this many times, works like a charm.

go but order something that's not alcoholic. If she questions it just say you don't drink now or AA or whatever. Don't over-think it
