Over the last year I simply narrowed down my tinder slider to 18-23 yr olds. I'm 31. Why even waste time swiping on near wall women. Currently dating a goofy but cute 18 yr old.

Turns out many girls in the 18-23 range will set the range up to 36. Which fits EXACTLY with rational males SMV graph. Sure there's stigma of dating a guy 15 years older than you... but they just love optimizing their benefits. Thats why they don't cross over to 37... less value than 36, more stigma.

For OP, he simply overcame that with in person feelings and won out. I wouldn't worry too much. Worse that happens is she gets too embarrassed to introduce you to others close to her and keeps you a secret til she finds a younger guy.
