I'd argue that there really isn't such a thing as two people being equal in SMV. From the female's perspective, the two males will have distinctions between them that she might not be able to explicate, or maybe even consciously identify; no matter how similar they appear to each other, they will appear different to her.

In general, you shouldn't try to 'win' the girl. The better route is to simply work on yourself: lift, fuck, read, hustle. This would raise your value and make her see you as the better mate.

My motto for a situation like this.... work for affection, do NOT compete for attention.

I'll engage her and sweet talk her all night, but if she expects me to peacock for her or some other smuck wants to weasel his way in, fine, I'm not going to waste my time and energy on someone who barely wants me around anyway. Fuck that noise.

For me, the bottom line is basically, let the girl choose. It's nature's way, the female chooses.

My job in the situation is twofold. 1) Prevent any runaway jealous hissy fit emotions from creeping into my frame, at all costs, otherwise I'm fucking done, she'll choose the other asshole everytime. 2) Exude abundance and "hey babe, I want for you what you want for you...whatever makes you happy, go for it... If you wanna be with him, great, lemme know if it doesn't work out we can pick up where we left off if we're both single at the time." Then you hug her and look all supportive-like, not a hint of butthurt and drama. If the other guy doesn't understand this dynamic and starts chasing her, trying to push himself in front of you, he's fucked - she's picking you, the man who was 100% willing to let her go.

It's a game you win by not playing. Two guys competing over a girl is just going to destroy her attraction to either of you.

Divert the other guy's attention to you by giving him validation. Then end the conversation and ask the girl if she wants to get a drink or something.

Facing off with an equal or greater Alpha is best reserved for acquisition of goals and power. Leave the Beta faggots to fight over women, the windfall you get from being who/what you are should be more than enough.

I recall the movie A Beautiful Mind where the Nash equilibrium was conceived by John Forbes Nash.

In a central scene, Nash sees 5 guys competing for the same girl and realises that they are blocking each from succeeding. A situation where each guy avoids guy-to-guy conflict to get a girl will maximize the average chance of hooking up with a girl.

Transposed in TRP, you might win the girl in an Alpha vs Alpha situation after much postering and game, but if you just move on and spent all that time and energy on other girls, your chance of actually succeeding will be a lot higher.
