I'm new to the RP philosophy and am admittedly still a little unsure. So I've been married for 7 years and together for 9 and am working against years of being the beta chump. I have seen some positive results but I think I've run up against a new level of shit test.

So last night, I'm laying in bed and reading Athol Kay, my wife comes in and goes "can you go into the living room I want to go to bed." It came across as a bit snarky so I just flat out said no. Really it wasn't a big deal, if she wanted to go to sleep she could have regardless of me being there reading or not. She got pissy about it and took her pillows and slept on the couch.

About 15 minutes later I shut the light off to go to sleep myself. 5 minutes after that she came in a tried to give me shit about that. I pretty much just ignored it. She asked me if I cared that she was pissed/upset. I said no, that's it. Just no. So she fucks off and sleeps on the couch. This morning comes and she tries brining it up again. I tell her that I'm not dealing with her having a hissy fit. She drops it and goes to work.

40 minutes later I get this wall of text that says:

"You know what really bugs me.....hissy fit or not I've expressed to you that I am upset and you don't care. there was obviously a misunderstanding last night and your happy just to leave me feeling bad and continue on like everything is fine.

I guess I should be able to take care of myself and my own feelings and not get offended. But with everything over the last few weeks feeling awful.

I will deal with my feelings and problems on my own from now on, since I think that was what you want from me."

For a bit of context, I've been implementing Red Pill theory for about the last 3-4 weeks. Taking leadership, not letting her run the show. Setting boundaries and having consequences if they are not adhered to. This also leads to her followup text, which pertains to house keeping. I've started to push for both of us to keep the house really clean. Like when we use dishes, we wash them as soon as we are done. Was and put away. One of her shit tests for me has been to wash them and then leave them to "air dry." And every time I get on her about drying that shit and putting them away. Its not hard and it keeps shit clean. But she sends this text right after the last one. "I will do the dishes and keep things clean so you don't have to belittle me as well. Life in the apartment should be fantastic."

I feel like she is just trying to bait me into an argument to so she can push shit back to the way things used to be where I would just concede to her whim. I haven't responded to this at all. I've just ignored it.

Am I on the right track here, or am I coming at this wrong.
