So during the bench press I currently hold about half a grip from the knurling, such that my forearms are perpendicular to the floor.
However from observing some folks, and the recommendation of this PT at my gym, I was advised to widen my grip such that my little fingers touch the rings on the knurling that mark the legal width for some sport or something.
A wider grip purportedly puts more stress on the upper chest muscles, starting strength however, doesn't recommend that.
What do you guys think?
