Since no one has mentioned it, yet, until you have solid internals and a lot of practice, it's much better to keep texting limited to logistics.

Girls think of the one letter 'k' response as a 'fuck you, i'm to whatever (cool, busy, etc.) to put effort into this conversation' equivalent. It definitely didn't seem like that's what you meant, but that's how a lot of them see that 'k'.

Try to talk in sentences and continue a conversation. Obviously I dont know where you are in this chat up or how well you know her.

But things I would consider, when she said "Fiddling with my computer. You?" You could have replied "Lucky computer" or "I'm thinking about the next time we meet up" or any number of things.

Same is just boring, and a conversation killer. She also waited 11 minutes for that. If I were her i would have stopped replying at that point. The 'Fun' reply was probably her being sarcastic.

You could have replied to fun with "Are you offering?" But again, it depends what stage we are at.
