So I've been a season ticket holder in the friend zone.

My problem I think is, I try to show I care about someone by helping them. Need a favour? I'm on it. Be it friends, or potential girl friends I'm giving to the point of excess.

I finally scored my first relationship at 21 (It was Long-distance) that then broke down after 2 and a half years and her cheating on me. I spent the next eight months hitting the gym and trying to win her back only to do so. (I'm aware how fucked that is).

I stopped going to the gym slipped back into old habits and in September of last year I found out she'd been hitting OKC on the side and talking to guys.

Needless to say she dumped me for another guy who she now lives with, leaving me at 26, living with my widowed father and feeling like a bit of a fuck up.

I have a good job. My resumé is on point and I'm slowly getting in shape. I'm not a bad looking guy, but for some reason I don't seem to have that spark. I have worse looking friends that have far more success but it's not confidence, I can talk to anyone, its part of my job. I think my issues is more what I say.

With that said, Im trying to ascertain how to improve what I say. So can anyone give me the de facto rules of the red pill when it comes to talking to women?

EDIT: After reading the terms or glossary, I seem to have fluctuated between an orbiter, and white knight. We got back together after her third shitty relationship and shed fucked a guy who was 'a friend' of hers.

So what I guess I'm trying to say is, how do I graduate to the status of an Alpha Male without losing what I felt were good qualities.
