Like an alpha lion pushing the betas off a kill, you just solidified your place in the pecking order by rolling over and giving up as soon as they approached. Frame smashed, for her, and anyone else that saw.

The "isn't it cute how hard they try?" line can work, but stick around and see if she blows them off. Worth the extra few seconds to not lose out on the work you already did.

Making it into a joke is always good. Sexual is even better. Ask her "is this how most guys talk you into threesomes?" Bonus if they hear, they'll likely backpedal/defend, blowing up their own spot.

Agree and amplify can almost always be applied. "If you think she's kinda cute now, you should see her in bed." Look at her and smile. They don't know you didn't already fuck her, but they'll step off once you imply it. She won't correct you unless she REALLY wants one of them over you. Fuck it, time saved. If it works, you get the bonus of already setting the stage.

Showing you give zero fucks, they're not even a threat to you taking her home, can be effective too. They approach, you whisper to her "I'll grab us a drink while these guys entertain you" (hand on back, pull her to close). Come back, step between them and her, hand her the drink, and ask her if the show is over.

Why did those guys feel like it was ok for them to approach? Why did they have to do it in tandem?... chances are that none of you were gonna get that girl. You probably weren't escalating hard enough.. people rarely go up to girls that look like they are clearly vibing with someone else... Those two retards dancing for their supper weren't gonna get it in either. Focus on escalating and isolating.

I'm not experienced enough to where my opinion carries much weight, but to me, walking away seems like giving up too easily. I definitely understand your logic though. The response you suggested definitely seems like a good one to me. If after you said that things weren't heading in the direction you like, walking away is still a viable option. You have the right mindset of being able to walk away at any moment, just know that you don't necessarily have to at the first sign of difficulty.
