Based on what I've learned about attraction - the answer is no, but I'd really like some second opinions. It seems to me that women's attraction comes and goes pretty quickly, and because women prefer that things just "happen to them naturally", they aren't often going to actively pursue a man the vast majority of the time, and if he doesn't make a move or she loses attraction (which can easily happen at the drop of a hat), her vagina dries up and it's onto the next one for her.

Furthermore, whenever I hear a story about a relationship that came together after years of oneitis, it's always, ALWAYS that the guy was the one pining over her, and never the other way around.

I can understand if you've fucked her already and then she starts to feel like that, but for guys it's always pre-sex (or anything at all). If the answer to my question is yes, I'm thinking it's mostly post-sex.

We all know women's attraction comes and goes pretty damn quickly, and we all know you have to constantly be working to maintain that attraction, which is where my question comes from.

Are women so oblivious to what attracts them that they just pretty much wait until an attractive man comes around and makes all the right moves to feel anything, or are they capable of having those prolonged unrequited feelings that seem to be infinitely more common with men?
