You have already lost it when you fill up the hole in your heart with things of this world. Suprise! That hole cannot be filled. You can be happy in the grimmest of situation and depressed is the best of them. Happiness ultimately comes from within and not externally.

Have you tried daily meditation? I dealt with a lot of these thoughts on psychedelics. They're not for everyone but they have profoundly changed my life.

Sounds to me like you may be making good money but your business isn't your "purpose". I would do this: find your purpose and stay with that, try new hobbies that involve action(surfing, snorkeling, cycling, ballroom dance, etc), add more music and art to your life(will teach you taste), travel the world and experiencing more women.

The Buddha taught that all suffering comes from craving and avoidance. Two sides of the same coin really.

Acceptance is said to be a path to true lasting happiness that comes from within. As others have mentioned. Meditation is a great start. Also practicing mindfulness in daily life helps.

Not saying you should give all your material wealth up. I was in banking/sales and doing well. Now i live in campervan at the beach while i study. Each to their own. Listen to that inner guidance though. Breaking free of the matrix isnt just about getting chicks.

I used to be innthe same situation, borderline depressed even though I had a lot going fot me.

What actually helped me was to be honest with myself and live the way I wanted. I started following my interest and met great people in the process, people I could connect with. Even the girls i met in those circles didn't need much gaming, we were compatible so the whole thing went a lot smoother and was very enjoyable.

Also focused on myself to see what past trauma were causing me to act in certain ways and dealt with them( for example: I reconnected with my father, found the source of my validation seekung behavior...)

PS: Meditation is also a great tool to ease the mind.

Are you going after your TRUE passion? I'm pretty much regurgitating AMS, but everyone has an emptiness in their heart that MOST try to fill with a woman. Instead, fill it with your purpose/passion.
