I think others have explained it really well. Something I would like to add: Repetition leads to conviction. It might sound silly, but I tape myself and listen to statements like "I will walk away, if she treats me like dirt." over and over again.

I see frame as having a strong, unwavering mentality as a result of your own confidence in the accuracy of your judgement of reality.

Having a good frame is like saying, "Here's how I operate. I have determined by my judgement that it is the best way of doing things. I'm not going to change that to accommodate you. I will listen to reason, but I will not be swayed by emotional appeals. If you want to be a part of my life, you must accept my way of doing things. I am the leader of my life. I am the captain of this ship. If you can't accept that, get lost."

Imo Frame:your interpretation of the world.

For example you could be out with a girl and spill water onto your crotch. The girl you are with throws out the line "Ha, looks like you pissed yourself, might want to change your pants big boy".

A man with a strong frame would not allow his emotions to be affected by this, there is nothing to be embarrassed about so he will not get embarrassed. His response will be "But I didn't piss myself..." said with a bemused expression.

A man with a weak fram would get anxious about all the wrong impressions he is making, he will be disheartened that he fucked up. He allowed the girl to control the frame by affecting his emotional state with a quip. His response: "Wait, would people think I pissed myself? Really? Fuck, I shouldn't have spilt it, I'm such a clumsy oaf."
