Girl was a plate, she quickly became my #1 for a few months. I truly enjoyed spending time with her after we fucked. I stopped seeing other girls but never told her this. Some of the best sex I've ever had. She was enough for me. Had she asked, I would have gone exclusive with her. She was fine with the casual nature of our relationship.

She had to leave the country with it being unclear if she'd be ever be back. Few months in turns out she knew she was coming back but didn't tell me. I had to ask and got a weird response.

Finally returns. We get together. I make a move, she declines and cites some reasons that don't really make sense eg. logistics, needing to get her life together etc.. To me, if you want someone, all these things are secondary at best.

I walked away without an argument or discussion about it. I believe it's over. She doesn't feel the same way about me as I do her and there's no re-negotiating that. Before we first banged she had logical objections that later disappeared through no direct logical argument on my part. She just wanted it.

However she chased me all the way to my car as I walked away, begging me to talk, asking for answers, "why we can't be friends". I refused. Could this mean anything, that she still feels something for me or was it simply her attempt to get closure?

I have that nagging desire to talk to her, to address each of the reasons she cited and get back together. I still have strong feelings for her.

Already deleted her on everything and have 2 dates lined up this weekend. 100% I can move on and know how to, though I don't want to if there's any chance of saving what I had with her.

Pretty sure I already know the answer, but what's askTRP's thoughts on this.

Edit: The piece I'm struggling with the most is the closure conversation. I know TRP says not to, but if she's already gone it's not as though I can lose her any more. If it's simply my pride at stake, I'd gladly sacrifice that for a chance at getting her back no matter how slim it may be.
