They're compliments and IOIs. I get called that all the time by both men and women. I am a doppleganger for Ryan Gosling and get told by at least one person every day I look like him.

I used to also think they were insults and shit tests at first, which they are kind of shit tests, still need to A&A, but they aren't bad things.[

Sounds like you’re insecure. Like if you’re “cute” to them, you think they might treat you worse, or they don’t respect you.

In reality, they’re just complimenting you with the language they’re familiar using. You have a weird hang up about it that you need to work on. Because if you don’t, then it could actually eventually be used against you.

I get called cute too. Way more often than I get called hot. Not sure what the deal is. I’d rather get called hot but it’s not the worst thing in the world. Could be a lot worse.

My guess is because I look kinda young for my age. Not too much facial hair. And I shave every day because my stubble sucks. Whatever man. Don’t worry about it too much.

Cute can mean anything. Had a girl tell me she thinks I'm cute and we ended up making out. Same girl talked about a guy in university that is pretty awkward and socially acts like a child, has a body like a child and is unattractive in genral. She also thinks he is "cute". It just has a different meaning. The tone is important.
