I am in college and have been seeing this girl for about a year (plate for 6 months and gf for 6 months). Recently, I don’t recall how it came up, but she started making comments about how a boy was very tall, handsome, athletic, smart, etc. and described him as my “superior”. Initially just blew it off as a shit test and ignored her she pushed it a little farther even stating that I should agree with her that he’s my superior. He was also the quarterback at her high school. The more I think about it the more it bothers me he goes to a different school and as far as I’m aware she does not communicate with him. I brought it back up to her later and she said it was meaningless and she really thought he was “annoying”, but just said that because everyone “worshipped him”. Should I be worried? Is this a red flag for our future, she’s pretty smart and decently attractive thought she might make a good wife. She does almost anything I say for the most part and hasn’t really had any other red flags I’m aware of unless you count dying her hair red. She also is shy and doesn’t go out to bars extensively or anything of that sort. Or am I just wasting my time in college and this girl just blatantly displayed how open to hypergamy she is?
