Each person will claim one is more important than the other, usually it's whatever they identify with themselves or feel is their strongest attribute.

I don't have strong daily game, but when I have to survive/feel wronged etc its game that gets me by. So I think those with strong daily game are more likely to acquire status, money, and the perks that daily game brings.

And yes after a while you do need money and status, game brings those things. Take two heart surgeons with equal skills, the one with game will end up with more money and a higher rank.
