Id post this in RPW but id like a male opinion on how to deal with a DT "player" of sorts. My BF is a avid poster/reader here this is how I found my way here ive brushed up on terms and what TRP stands for and agree with its realism I read the sidebar as well as the post rules for askTRP and it doesnt seem id be breaking any by posting here.

Anyways onto my point at hand. My BF of 3 months has all 3 forms of dark triadism. He is a somatic narcissist, A machivellian, And a Sociopath. I found these out both by random occurences and his reactions. The narcissism was easy to spot hes consumed with bodybuilding hes about 6'3-6'4 220 pounds just an outright amazing body abs everything. Sociopathy was spotted when someone tried to start a fight with him at a bar for making an asinine comment and his calmness and callousness in regards to how he dealt with the situation left me with an incredibly leery feeling it was mainly his eyes that gave it away the way he looked at the other guy just was a cold deathly stare there are many other instances that have skeeved me out thats just one example. The Machiavellianism is quite understable he fucks people over all the time for self gain but I think that plays in with his sociopathy. I guess what im trying to understand is what he wants from me and how to deal with the things he does? Hes about an 8 or a 9 SMV wise im about a 5 I would say I was a 6 when we met. I dont know why he chose to commit to me which bothers me every day. He makes 3 times as much as me hes 23 im 31 hes better looking then me definitely smarter he could pretty much have any woman he wants he gets hit on all the time at the gym or at bars even when with me. The weirdest thing is he treats me incredibly well he hasnt cheated on me but he disappears at odd hours but has no problems showing me his phone or building trust with me. I know hes not lying because there are no pauses between when I ask and when he answers I dont think hes cheating? None of the things he does make sense. I can deal with egotistical outbursts and him making inane comments in public about being better then other people. But disappearing without a trace makes no sense when hes given me ample reason to trust him. I think the main issue I have is sociopaths use people and I have no idea what hes using me for its definitely not sex and its not money and I dont increase his status amongst his friends group because im beneath him SMV wise. Hes a very malicious person to other people but not to me. With me hes charming respectful he enjoys being my arm candy its the oddest thing. Is it possible that he isnt really a "bad" person like most sociopaths are and genuinely cares for me (a farcry im sure DT people lack empathy) im really confused and would love some insight I feel incredibly insecure about what his "motives" are I guessed he possibly had a secret drug addiction but I asked him to take a random drug test infront of me and he was negative for everything. Im lost for words here!
