Since I started going out with girls for real 4 years ago, my problem would always be that I couldn't get hot girls to go out on a date with me. Once they did go on a date with me, it was pretty much a done deal. Either they weren't as attractive in person and I'd give up, or I'd eventually take them to bed. Almost every time I had a first date.

This year I've been landing dates with significantly cuter girls, but my batting average has been absolutely miserable. I've had so many cute girls deny a second date. Absolutely no idea what's going on. Just today I had yet another one. Girl seemed super interested pre-date (compliments, cute emojis, etc.) We have a nice, normal, 2-hour date. I didn't do anything wrong or outside the usual that I can think of. She tells me it's her first date from online apps which, if true, is a massive green flag. Towards the end we hold hands and at the end she even gave me a nice long hug. Then today I invite her out again and she says she's "not ready to start going on dates again," and that I'm "very nice, and probably the best person she could have had a first online date with," but that she doesn't want to keep going. So a pretty fantastic rejection, much better than ghosting, but still a rejection.

What could possibly be going on? Could the pandemic have something to do with it somehow? Did I somehow unlearn how to go on dates? Do women expect something different from a 29yo man than they do a 26yo man? I know it's very hard for you to know what I'm doing wrong without actually seeing it, but I'm just wondering what could possibly be happening, or if this ever happened to anyone else.
