TLDR: Thought I was alpha because everything was going well but as girl throws curve ball I learn I was only faking it and I'm back to being beta.

I've been with this girl for 8 months now and things have been good. I've been the aloof one, she's been the person texting me first, sending multiple text, there would be tons of emojis, an I love you every 5-6 messages, and her always wanting to video call me until 3 days ago. That was the day she met up with me at work and she forgot her keys. I had them and she came back to get them and I put out my lips to kiss her goodbye and she looked me in the eyes and said "Keys", then she took them and left.

Since then everything has been different and we haven't said I love you (before that we said it multiple times in a day).

She was going to factory reset her phone and sent me all of our pictures together to hold and send back to her once she was done. When she finished and I sent them back to her on snapchat she saved them. A few hours later she messages me and I notice all the pictures are gone and she said "I thought you saved them but I was wrong! They must have meant nothing to you!!" (This is where I noticed something was up)

That evening (yesterday) I texted her and this is how it went:

Me: Hey how are you?

Her: good.

Me: What are you up to?

Her: Chillin

Me: What did you do today?

Her: Nothing

After I got the implied message I stopped texting her. An hour later, the BP in me kicks in and I ask her if there's anything wrong because we seem distant these past few days and she tells me nothing is wrong. Thankfully I stopped myself and say goodnight.

She's doing to me what I did to her the first months we were dating an even though I know this, it's working.

From this I've noticed how insecure I am, how much needy love I want (and how needy I am) and that I have weak inner game if this is bothering me enough to make a post here about it and I'll work on improving these things.

About this situation what should I do?
