Maybe, maybe not. The ones I know don't care if some young chick respects them. They're paying for convenient hot pussy. When it's not convenient and not good they replace the girl asap. Further, they're always on the lookout for an upgrade free or paid for. Some of these guys have several million+ liquid cash with huge passive income. Their own kids are already set for life. They've accomplished most of their major life goals and have loot to waste.

I'm sure there are many situations where it is, and many where it isn't. But it's one of those rare games in life that where both players can win and both can lose. As long as you don't sign that contract for half your shit you can usually rack it up as a win.

Another way to look at it is: Would you spend 1% of your annual income to smash multiple 9/10's at your convenience? Probably. The fear of losing that juicy low effort income keeps a lot of them submissive and therefore low drama until the eventual amicable end. The pathetic part kicks in when it's over and the dude keeps pursuing as if it was some kinda true love bullshit instead of finding and leasing a newer model. The strawman in this case has already spent half his life learning and pursuing some difficult endeavor to make loads of $$$. Now he's gonna spend another x amount of time learning game and social proofing and all this other shit? Green is the cheat code of all cheat codes. The dudes I know who do this are generally vicious pragmatists, borderline psychopaths. Thinking people like that are pathetic would imply that they're worthy of pity. Homeless people are worthy of pity, amputee war veterans getting fucked over by the VA are worthy of pity. Grown ass men with more money than they know what to do with are not.
