Plate in whom I wrongly over-invested myself emotionally - yeah, my sidebar knowledge is lacking - just recently told me through text we couldn't see each other anymore because:

  1. "Even though she loves me, the feelings we have aren't enough"
  2. "I couldn't offer what she was looking for in a LTR"
  3. "I am too much of a funny guy and she is looking for someone serious and romantic"
  4. "I am immature and maybe she's looking for someone older" (we are both 21)
  5. "She wants some time for herself"
  6. "We argue a lot"
  7. "She feels like there's someone special for her and she should still look for him"

Probable reason: a Chad - with waaay higher SMV than me (I'm still 21), even though he's a dumb shit who shares selfies along with motivational phrases on facebook - she's been talking to for about 3 weeks came back from abroad recently. I even sneaked on her FB and saw her inviting him to be her "halloween date" at a party Thursday. I already suspected her before and I feel she will branch swing soon

As you may already be guessing, those are probably shitty excuses she came up with so she can feel better if/when she branch swings. I told her we should have some respect for the 3-month old relationship we had and she agreed to meet and talk on the next few days.

My question is: how can I manage our next talk to delay/avoid the inevitable? How can I lie/manipulate her into thinking this relationship is still viable? How will I show value? Is doing beta shit (like giving gifts - I've never done that) useful? She's good company to me and makes great sex. I feel that I'm already past the point of no-return, though - she started to rationalize. I can't really find new plates (even though I already have 2 others) through dating right now since I've been really busy with my studies recently.

Yes, I know this is scarcity mentality. I can't really handle it any other way, though

Or should I say "fuck this" and ask her why she was flirting with other guys on FB even though she said she was exclusive with me?
