Hi guys, so I’m African but live in South East Asia (did my undergrad here and have been working as a Software Engineer since last year). To provide more context, I don’t come from a “please give us food” kind of background, I grew around wealthier people who were more westernised as they travelled a lot and went to private schools with the white folks (my parents weren’t that wealthy). What this meant was in order to be competitive my friends and I learnt PUA (we found Real World Seduction by SwinggCat and the Mystery Method back in 2013) and we started using that stuff and all got laid.

We also learnt to talk like the other kids to better come off as though we were like them (but didn’t realise it back then). This meant that we had listen to hip hop and rnb as well as buying trendy sneakers like Jordans and AF1 etc. This of course helped me present myself so I don’t have an accent and also like the way I dress, I only realised what I mentioned after taking some time to reflect on my teenage years.

Now living in Asia, it’s been said multiple times that Asian women have a strong preference for white guys and have a complete disgust for black people, no complaints about that. The problem is, there is a sizeable community of students here and the girls get tingles from really scruffy looking Nigerian guys (I am from the South). Women immediately peg you as a beta if you’re not Nigerian especially if you’re from places like SA (I am talking about African women here). If you read the news you will notice that whenever there is mass arrest of Nigerian internet fraudsters, some of them a based in Asia.

These guys don’t exhibit alpha behaviours mentioned here, the use beta game but one of the girls I know hamstered about this and said “they are good with words”, I suspect that scam money is actually what the girls are after. For me as soon as I say I am working (it’s very hard to get sponsorship here) they immediately want me to chase them. I thought getting your shit together would improve things (I make twice what someone my level makes). Also the whole vibe I give may not be something they are after (doesn’t give them tingles) but I am attractive so they want to be seen around with me, some have even told me that but nothing.

Sorry for the long post, just wondering if there is anything more I can do. I was working on moving to London, Berlin or Stockholm (even turned down an offer) should I just forget about this and keep focusing on leaving?
