Was chilling with some friends the other day - the topic of military drafts come up. I mentioned that I don’t support the idea of a military draft (for combat based roles) for woman.

Immediately i get called out for being sexist, misogynist , etc. by three of my bros, because “woman are just as strong and capable”and blah blah. The usual shpiel.

Also, the other day I said “let’s say you make 200k a year and your wife stays home and focuses on raising the kids, this actually makes a pretty stable family structure” , - and almost IMMEDIATLY after saying this I got called sexist by them

What’s going on here? We’re all in the age range of 20-22, do men ever mature into the realization that the genders aren’t equal ? Has education pushed feminism and the “woman are wonderful” narrative too far?
