IMO, decent judgment call. The date was for 1 pm, if she knew she was going to be late (for whatever reason), she should have let you know before 1 pm if she could. Being "bad with directions" isn't an excuse to call at 1:15 to say she's late... Being stuck in a meeting, maybe.

And then saying she's "15 minutes away" and still not being there for another 30 minutes? Forget that. 45 minutes late for a first date is BS. You did the right thing.

"My time is valuable to me. 45 minutes late is not okay." and then ghost her. The next few guys will thank you.

Overall, men need to stop tolerating piss poor behavior from women and women's behavior will change.

Genuinely late or not, doesn’t matter. Your response was fine.

Whether she lied by making excuses or genuinely didn’t manage her time well enough to meet you are still both shitty qualities that would justify your response (by leaving; which you did). I’d have probably left after 15-20min as I respect my time.

Actions are the only evidence of her true behaviour. So that being said, tee up another meet and suss her out to be sure. If she disrespects your time again, then she’s not worthy of your attention. Next.

I would have said "I had to leave now as I've got something on but you should come round later and we can upgrade to dinner at mine instead" It's like she owes you after standing you up so either she comes over later for the easy f close or you don't see her again since she disrespected you.
