Calling something an LDR is just a nice way of saying that your relationship ended. Cut the chord. Revisit this when you two are close again. Or just move on.

If you think you've met an amazing girl for an LTR and that's what you really want to try doing, it's worth the try. The worst case the things won't go so well and you will break up. IMO it's stupid to do what most of the guys here say which is to just end it IF again you think she is an amazing girl for LTR.

I personally had a similar experience back at the time. Met a girl and we were together for an year. It was fucking amazing but she needed to go to university in a different city for an year to do her masters degree. Relationship was going fucking perfect and we both really wanted to stay together. So we did it - we were visiting each other 1 - 2 times a month and we went trough it. Eventually this girl became my wife and we've been super happy together ever since - just a dream LTR everybody want to have. So if I was listening to those dumbasses suggesting LTR never works, who knows what would have happened to me instead. Yeah it's difficult and there are all sorts of potential problems, but if you really care about each other it's definitely worth trying.

LDR is not a thing and even if You manage to 'survive' for 6 months when she is in a rural town it will fall apart within 2 weeks when she will be oversea drunk with emotions and oversea chads.
