I moved over the summer, and is my new school a fucking adjustment. My old school was a pretty typical American high school: popular kids were athletes, muscles got you pussy. But the new school I go to, well, it's weird. Here are some examples:

  • Was gaming a girl on one of my first days, made a joke about me being a wrestler at my old school. Her reaction was basically, 'ew, that sport where guys touch each other'. I thought it was a shit test, responded with 'sweaty guys aren't the ones I want to touch right now' while smirking. She just said, 'eww, no, muscles are gross and sports are dumb'. And observing the guys at school that spin plates or have HB8+ LTRs, they're all skinny-as-fuck pretty boys.

  • Sports are seen as uncool. All the athletes-football, wrestling, basketball, track, baseball-and plus anyone who lifts or has muscles is made fun of. Sports are seen as stupid, and anyone who plays a sport is seen as a dumb jock, whether or not they are. Once, a wrestler lashed out and beat up a guy. Instead of being intimidated, everyone bullied him more.

  • The most popular kids are either a) rich spoiled-ass kids b) feminists or c) theater actors,

So yeah. I'm a guy who lifts regularly and wrestles. I'm not keen on beating up someone to get respect, cause clearly that hasn't worked in the past. What do I do?
