I used to pay attention to MBTI, but I don't think it's the 'be all, end all' thing. As Rollo Tomassi said in TRM, and even in psychology, your personality is never static. It changes through different stimuli/pressures in life, etc. I don't look at people's personality 'types' anymore. I just take them as they are and gather facts about them whenever I interact with them. People are complex creatures. I think it's unwise to group a bunch of people I meet into tiny categories.

I also think that focusing on MBTI, you're somewhat putting yourself into a psycho-analytical straight-jacket. I was curious about this, but then later realised I got sucked into some kind of a weird obsession and over-analysing stuff about people.

If you want to benefit from typing, look into original Jungian theories, not MBTI interpretations.

I am somewhat into it and it has helped me come to terms with that majority of the time I'm not into SJ women (and they're not into me), and grand majority of my friends and intimate interests are intuitives.

That alone crosses like 50-60% of females off my interest, unless some change occurs in my mind that I do not expect.

Another thing is that I'm somewhat feminine, sensitive by my personality (ENFP) and it's worth to know that it's absolutely not worth it to change it. Curbe it at times, maybe, but not overly, or you become unhappy - being unhappy isn't worth the women you might "get". Typing myself helped me clarify where do I want to look for girls, what kind of girls are gonna be attracted to me and what kind of girls I am attracted to.

I have zero interest in SJ girls and am mostly into artsy NF girls or rational, masculine NT women (kinda rare).

Women who look for hypermasculine guys or "mostly masculine" guys - interested in cars, science, focusing on making money, having a stable career etc. usually don't take too much notice into me, and that's okay. I couldn't be less concerned.

Whenever I do the test I come up as INTJ - the issue is it doesnt help anyone to think strictly in dichotomies and archetypes. A lot of the people drawn to MBTI are the type who ALREADY think in rigid manichaean terms, and most others are women who just want a more credible astrology.

MBTI has some truth to it but its not the be-all, end-all. I no longer subscribe to it. I was heavy into it in my late teens to early twenties, typifying every person I came across and putting them in boxes, but then I discovered TRP and became fake woke. Frame is everything hahaha

Same here. I was deeply into it for a while then lost some interest. The knowledge I learned is still incredibly useful though. I'm an INTJ btw.

Since you're good at typing people, what function am I? I think logically but depending on the situation I will not always do what is logical. Entirely on the situation though. Like if its somebody I care for I will not always do the logical thing if the logical thing is detrimental. However if it was a stranger I wouldnt care

It is complete crap invented by a mother and daughter. It is used in business because there is a business behind it, promoting it, and selling it.
