When you are horny, your brain kicks your hormones into over drive. Sexual desire is a very powerful force so your mind focuses purely on that and begins to justify actions that you otherwise wouldn't do. Think of this as a separation of emotional and logical thinking. When your horny, the emotional side takes over and you don't think logically. You do anything and everything to get laid. However the second you orgasm, your hormones are suppressed and the logical side of the brain is allowed to function again. You no longer have the sexual desires clouding your brain. You are then able to realize that all you wanted from women was to get laid and once that goes away you don't care and focus on yourself. This instinct comes from millions of years of evolution.

As a side note, I remember reading somewhere that on average women have more connections between the left and right sides of the brain so they have a harder time separating their emotions from their reason. This can explain a lot of female "emotional" behavior. I also reserve the right to be wrong on this though as I am not a neuroscientist.

The idea not as simple, and ironically I studied this in university psychology. The basic principal is your brain is driven by 2 factors: logic, and emotion. The side note here is that you are also at the age where you can't fully control your emotions, so age and mental maturity play a factor. An important factor is that your emotional side of your brain is dictated by hormones. Another important factor is that your logic side of your brain is programmed with what you can do vs what you will do. So:

When you are pre-fap, your brain is using more emotion than logic. Emotion is based off primal instincts, and it is saying you need sex. The smaller logical part of your brain kicks in and is only able to trigger thoughts that are already ingrained into you, aka. the beta programming that you've been fed all your life.

When you are post-fap, your emotions aren't crying for sex as much, so you are more logically thinking than emotional. This means that your actions are dictated by logical thought, hence trying to apply the alpha ways that you want to be.

Uh dude, mine is the polar opposite. I am 100% alpha mindset before and leading up to release. Then after, I am like - ugh, I wish these bitches would just let me be nice to them. It would be so much less work.

I understand that the brain releases oxytocin after blowing a load, which is a bonding hormone. Whether or not you have less free floating Test after, I do not know for sure - but have heard anecdotally to be the case. It would make sense given my change in mindset but not so much yours - so who knows.

The obvious answer is that natural sex hormones encourage you to want sex, and then when you have an orgasm, whether or not it's inside a woman, those hormones subside, temporarily lowering your sex drive.

Why exactly men have this refractory period, I'm not sure. Maybe some biologist or doctor can help us out.

This is all unrelatable to me. I feel nothing different before or after except obviously the orgasm itself feels good. No change in thoughts before vs after, no emotional increase at all.
