Means nothing nowadays.. Girls give out their number because they don’t like confrontation. Much easier to give it to you and ignore you later than deal with how a beta would react if they said no.

Most replies here are on the mark. But also let me suggest you try a change in strategy.

When a girl whose number you got at a club doesn't reply to your text the next day or so, it means she doesn't feel she will be missing out on anything if she blows you off. And what this means is that you got her number after an interaction that was too superficial to leave an impression on her.

You say you go out and meet 8 girls and number close 6, but none reply. Though it is true it is a numbers game, the quality of the numbers you get can increase your odds of something coming from it. That is, if you get 6 numbers from 8 interactions of 5-15 minutes, that still sounds like pretty high odds that those interactions were not very deep or interesting. So, you strike out with all them, predictable. It's like you are at the track and keep picking longshots and wonder why none ever come in.

Try having longer interactions with fewer women. You don't need to have deep meaningful conversations with them, but you should be fun, memorable, and someone they think they would enjoy meeting again. Come off as someone that they would think another girl should feel lucking snagging. They should wonder "why is he single?" in the sense of someone is going to snap him up soon, so she better get her bid in.

Thus, try to get about 2-3 numbers when you are out but make those numbers ones with better odds.

Finally, if you are going to boozy dance clubs for chicks' numbers, that's half your answer right there. Girls are not there for finding boyfriends or fucks later, they are there to get fucked that night. They also don't remember because they were drunk, the music was loud, and their played along with 15 other guys trying to hit on them.

Number closes are a non-achievement. The only close that you can count is the F-close. Everything in between should be noted as part of the process. If you actually are closing and you feel like you need more, then invite two of them to join you instead of knocking them out one by one.

It's just how it is now days or maybe it's always been women are complete flakes.

Don't get her number or ask for it make her want to give it to you and then reject her.

You have to make women want you more than you want them and rejection is the fastest method.
