I don't have much of a backstory other than being in an LTR for 2 years now. I feel I have been whipped in all ways and have been making changes.

This evening I cooked a prime rib roast, veggies and rice. Before heading off to work for night shift (her) my gf commands that I pack her meal for her.

Now I usually serve what I cook but I tell her to do it herself. She says she has to work, and I say I have to serve my meal too. I point out that she is "twiddling her balls" as she tells me often, on her cell phone.

She proceeds to melt down get in her vehicle and peel out down the road nearly running into the mailbox.

Before she melted down she also pulled the "I bought you XYZ, you shouldn't be such a fucking asshole, fucking piece of shit." - any time she buys something for me no matter how small, be it a hamburger, she will never let me live it down soon as she doesn't get her way.

Then she says she should listen to her dad and I don't care about her or think about her.

My Thoughts:

  • She demands I do EVERYTHING and she does NOTHING. She refuses to even do her own laundry. I am trying to break this. Any tips? Am I going about this the wrong way?
  • How do I deal with the constant guilt tripping when I don't let her get away with telling me what to do? She always brings up things she has bought me. She says how giving she is, but I know she just likes buying stuff.
  • Should I tell her she needs to learn to do things for herself, or just keep doing this kind of thing and not bring it up later?

I know you guys might say walk but I really want to use this as a learning experience.
