There is no hate, just acknowledging how human interactions function and behaving accordingly in order to reach your goals (regardless of their nature, TRP is amoral)

Hating is letting your emotions get control over you

There is always a bit of a difference between TRP's message and the people on here. One could easily think it's all about plates and nothing else.

And I feel this has been really strange in the few last weeks, month or two.

Articles on the main sub are supposed to illustrate TRP in the modern world. And often it's articles that have no place there.

In college most guys I know didn't want anything too serious and were mostly just trying to hook up with chicks in college

Your personal experience does not reflect the norm. Men are conditioned from birth to be BB. Even at college age, they try to get into relationships. Three scenarios result in what you experienced.

  • they somehow managed to miss this programming as a kid (happens very rarely when a boy has a TRP father)

  • a guy is a "natural" (high SMV value without having to actually cultivate it) and realizes he doesn't have to be in a relationship, and can still get poon

  • a guy gets burned by some chick and finds the manosphere

But these are the edge cases. 85% of dudes are still trying to lock one girl down even in college.

The flipside is that the women's programming is to have it all®. Ergo, sample a bunch of dicks ("find yourself"), have a career (postpone marriage), and THEN finally lock down a dude.

"a major university in Florida." You went to a party school, and likely hung out with the party people. Funny thing is: there's a lot of students at party schools who aren't involved in the hook-up culture, more still who involved themselves in the hookup culture although they would have rather had a relationship but it was the only way they knew to get attention from the opposite sex, and a shit-ton more who didn't go to a party school at all (little or no hookup culture). They exist, they're the norm, and you just have never been exposed to it.

TRP claims to validate their different standards and judgement toward women as opposed to men (shaming women who have sex while celebrating men who do the same, for example) with the catch-all adage that "men and women are different." Well, this isn't wrong, but you will find here large amounts of actual hypocrisy, probably because the user base is mostly bitter and jaded guys. What you point out here is an example of actual hypocrisy. Another frequent example is vilifying women who use access to sex as bargaining power while enthusiastically advocating that men use commitment as bargaining power (dread game). If women are the gatekeepers of sex and men of commitment, as TRP postulates, then these actions are analogous; however TRP universally condemns it when women do it while celebrating it when men do it.

Like I said, some of their double standards can be excused away with the classic "men and women are different." But I'd say the majority of the woman-hating circle jerk is explained by the sea of bitter and jaded guys. There are so many examples of actual hypocrisy - again for example, if men are gatekeepers of commitment and women are gatekeepers of sex, then a man spinning plates is the equivalent of a woman stringing along hapless "beta orbiters." However, TRP time and again reacts to women spinning orbiters with savage vitriolic hate and condemnation, while applauding and damn near worshipping any man who does the equivalent, which is stringing along naive girls who want relationships and just using them for sex. I'm not saying spinning plates is evil, just that TRP user base is fundamentally biased against women, so you have to expect and watch out for stuff like this. If you get bogged down with the crowd of bitter incels while searching for actual self-improvement, you run the risk of ending up jaded and angry like everyone else.

Damn, I've noticed the same thing as well. I wish someone made a post about this on /r/TheRedPill.

I doubt a message like this would make it through the circle jerk on theredpill, it would probably be considered "policing tone" by the mods. Feel free to make your own post if you're willing to try rocking the boat.

Edit: the current top post on /r/theredpill perfectly demonstrates my point.

http://www.reddit.com/r/TheRedPill/comments/2cl18z/trp_youve_all_helped_me_understand_the_nature_of/

This poor guy came to find self-improvement, but internalized all the vitriol at imagined double standards and is now unlikely to ever actually find happiness. What's the point of becoming a ripped player if you're depressed and have a false view of the half of the population you're attracted to? That's just sad, A sea of bitter incels has converted this guy into a bitter voluntary celibate.

Yeah I would agree with you. I think the redpill mods would say something that this is a male space where men can express their frustration. However, I think that women riding the cock carousel is not the same as men spinning plates. As you said, women having multiple beta orbiters would be the equivalent to a man spinning plates. Multiple beta orbiters does not equal having sex with a bunch of men. Women's riding of the cock carousel tends to decrease their value for a LTR. You have truly swallowed the red pill when you calmly acknowledge and accept the reality that women have an opposing sexual strategy.

[–]1kick6-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Women have used sex as a weapon for generations, and men are just discovering that they can withhold commitment in the same manner. These "bitter and jaded guys" are simply celebrating men finally reaching arms parity in the battle of the sexes.

Ergo, if women can celebrate the advances in the corporate world, why must you be here lambasting men for celebrating their advances in other realms?

I see where you're coming from, but you need to read the sidebar of /r/TheRedPill - specifically the articles Women In Love and Men In Love. They explain the fundamental differences you are looking for.

I feel like TRP should be less focused on criticism of other genders and more focused on self improvement.

FTFY

Don't assume we all hate women or are here to criticize women.

So it's the hypocrisy, sweeping generalizations and harsh language that bothers you?

Thing is, we don't give a fuck.

Instead of bitching about what you don't like why don't you go and start a sub full of the shit you do like?

Then have rules against sweeping generalizations and whatever else offends your delicate heart. Either suck it up and take what you agree with and leave the rest or GTFO. Complaining doesn't do shit and that's all you're doing.

It's only contradictory if you think women and men are equal. I'm not saying one is better than the other we just aren't equal.

If you read the sidebar, you'd know this already. Getting caught up on what the people who don't get it say, makes no sense. You also don't have to agree with everything.

I'm married so a lot of shit said doesn't apply to me. I ignore it. You should do the same. I said as much in my first reply to you in this thread.

Be very, very cautious with the concern trolling. The mods don't like it.

It's probably going to get deleted. In the meantime These PC police types are entertaining me.

There are 2 key points:

  1. The disparity in numbers, whereas a minority of guys gets to have sex with the majority of girls during the cock carousel. Personally I believe in the 80/20 rule

  2. The same Alpha Fucks that rode the cock carousel, once it's time to get into a LTR or married, they pick a pretty woman with low cock count.

Tu put into math terms:

  • Pre-wall: 20% of guys (AF) will sleep multiple times with 80% of the girls (cock carousel)

  • Post-wall: that 20% of guys (AF) will now get into LTR with that 20% of women who didn't ride the Cock Carousel. The reminder 80% of guys (BB) will get into a relationship with the 80% of girls who rode the Cock Carousel.

Nothing wrong with it, no judgment given; just noticing the facts of life. So if you are part of that 80% BB male, now you have a clear viewpoint, make your own decision.

Note: more often than not, the post-wall-former-carousel-riding girl will cheat onthe BB with the AF.

The difference is that as women accumulate more sexual partners, their SMV decreases. As men accumulate more sexual partners, their SMV increases up to a certain point.
