I'm going to say a few simple things:

Cops don't give a dick about you and can't do anything until after it happens. Absolute best case you can expect from police is them backing you up because the guy had a record or you already filed something with them about him bothering you.
Any sort of planning out an assault/defense already implies you're in a pretty ridiculous situation, so I suggest you leave. Society doesn't permit men to be territorial anymore. You can't go stomp on his fat face and piss all over his house. We live in the generation of empowered passive-aggression (i.e. let's make fun of the janitor because he can't legally do anything to us).
If someone wants to hurt you, and they are determined enough, it doesn't matter if they're 4' tall and you're 300lbs of muscle, where there is a will there is a way. It's like saying "How do you defend yourself against a suicide bomber?" You don't. You either catch those fuckers before they plan it, or you clean up the mess afterwards.
TRP is not a self-defense forum. Most of these guys have never held a gun, been in a fight, or de-escalated a serious situation before.

I mean, go take boxing or MMA classes if you want, but if he ever comes at you, feint up an outside with your non-dominant hand and throat-punch him with your dominant hand and watch him go down like a sack of potatoes. If you are both unskilled, you just need to have more fight in you than he does in him.

Keep the screenshot and any others in case you need evidence, but otherwise, proceed as normal. When your g/f mentions him ask how her "special friend" is. Treat him with light condescension/slight derision when his name comes up. If you see him in person be polite and bold. He will shit his pants from it.

It's her thing? WTF? If you are in a committed relationship (which I presume you are?) and you care about the girl (if not, it isn't an LTR) then obviously it should be a fucking concern to you if a stalker wants to attack/rape/kill your girl. And no, women are not capable of taking care of themselves.

You have two options:

A) Make a report to the police detailing his stalking with a copy of every interaction. The cops cannot do anything yet but IF/WHEN something goes down, it is very important to establish from the start you are the victim, not the perpetrator (kinda helps when you have nothing and he has 4 broken bones lol).

B) Retrieve your spine & balls from whatever godforsaken place you left them in, go to the neighbours house and bang on the door until he answers (take a bat with you in case ur afraid). Proceed to threaten him with whatever ungodly torture idea you can come up with and see him quiver in fear.

Threats on FB are in 99.9999999% of the cases complete BS. And even if he might have been thinking about possible doing something, you're surprising him at his door threatening him.

Or you could pretend not to care at all and remains scared as a 5 year old of monsters under his bed while yelling ALPHAAAA everytime you arrive at her place.
Or dump her since you're pissing yourself everytime you go to her place for super ALPHAA status.
