Should I apologize?

Alright so when I was in person with this girl and escalated she was seemingly pretty okay with it and was happy. But later I got a text saying that she didn't liked when I touched her and not to do it again. I said we aren't gonna hang out then. I have no idea if I should apologize or not because it is her body. Some people are saying that apologizing shows leadership qualities and some people are saying to die before apologizing. We have met in the past a couple of times but before I was quite BP and didn't touch her at all.  This was a few days ago and we haven't really texted each other since. She also almost NEVER apologizes when to me. I must admit I might have been a little too rough. What do I say?
