tl:dr - not a butthurt, life-hater young guy post, just observing the world through trp eyeshades.

im at a phase where i seriously question the idea of being nice/considerable to anyone, at any point in life.

nice guys finish last, yea, but even when i try to genuinely be kind to someone who needs it they accept it, sure, but forget it like this shit grows on trees.

im not surrounded by assholes, some of my friends are wonderful ppl, but most of em (generally most of any group) are self centered.

i would go so far to say that 95 percent dont give a rat's ass about anyone but themselves.

not meaning women, its all figured out on the feminine side, its natural for chicks. i mean dudes mostly.

now for the most interesting part: i have been seriously observing genuinely kind ppl around me and also total assholes.

guess who always gets ahead and i mean always, in everything? yeah you guessed it right.

why should i ever be kind/considerate to anyone but my family and closest friends?

others fuck u over and get ahead, good for them, no hard feelings, normal nature of humanity.

i came from a past where i have seen some serious shit and pain and naturally i developed an instinct to never willingly hurt any other person and most of the time be kind to them since i know the taste of it.

but most ppl seem to not appreciate, so, why waste the effort?

why not be a huge dick and care for myself and a handful of ppl only?
