It’s a common TRP theme not to text at all unless it’s for logistics. If she’s taking that long to text back I’m going to assume her interest is low. But for the sake of answering the question, I’d text back the next day or not at all.

There's this one girl I text quite a lot actually and she fucking loves to take her time to reply (it's a Japanese thing I've found out), some times she replies almost instantly, other times it's a few hrs, some times its several days and very rarely it's a fucking week. It kind of pisses me off, but in the end I've figured I don't even care any more. I reply when I feel like it. She's glued to her phone 24/7, and so am I pretty much (I'm 21). I see her message as soon as it comes. If I feel like I wanna try talking to her I reply fairly shortly after (never immediately but maybe 5 minutes). Other times I ignore her for some hours or some days if she's been ignoring me before that. Idk if this helps you but I think the correct thing to do in text game is to not really give a fuck, just reply when you feel like. In that regard, if she ignored your message for 5 hours I'd text her the next day or if she does it a lot wait maybe a few more days

A couple of hours. If I get something during work, I’ll only reply at lunch or right after work. The most important thing is to avoid neediness and being too available. Avoid double texting, a wall of text, or anything cringe worthy. Stick to logistics and you won’t worry too much about when to send texts or the content.

Double. Half. Sometimes ignore. Sometimes spontaneous. Get a good back and forth going, then stop responding just at the point where it's most obvious you would.

if she takes 20 mins. you take 25.

an hour? you go hour and a half.

don't make her feel like a priority or like you dont have other things to do.

she takes 5 hours? you don't see it till next day

When I was texting a bunch of girls I would usually take 1.5 the amount of time to reply that they did. So if they take 2 hours you take 3. If they do 5 you do 7.5 which could mean waiting until the next morning.
