My LTR of over a year sent me a tweet about getting a tip of $1000 on OF, onlyfans, and said “can I do this I don’t have to show my face plz”

I said “no, quit asking. Get a job like an adult and stop thinking that starting an OF will absolve you of any financial problems, that’s an easy way out that these girls do cause they’re fucking lazy and can’t do anything else w their lives and im not about to let you do the same“

She then said it was a “joke” to which I responded “it’s only a joke cause I said no”

She then goes haywire and says “ Literally fuck off. You’re not in charge of me. I’m not your fucking property so stop acting like I am”

To which i said, “I never said you are, and don’t speak to me like this.”

Was that too harsh or should I have handled it differently?

Edit: this is the first time she’s ever acted like that

Edit x2: to clarify, she doesn’t have an OF. She was asking if she could make one to get tips like that.
