Sometimes you gotta dig through mountains of dirt to find gold. There's good stuff here. I'm a new guy and honestly I don't think I fully understand everything on here but I try to contribute positively. Some guys on here seem to have radicalized the basic message from the sidebar readings which - to me - is all about empowering yourself both physically and mentally while learning to have healthy relationships with women as a dominant but respectful man.
Some people seem to have taken the readings in a different direction and act like women are nothing and only useful for sex, which I don't agree with. I love women... I just don't want to be a pussy when I deal with them. And I've also learned to respect myself a lot more by following the stuff on here, but I mainly read the top posts of all time, the sidebar material, and recently started on the books that are consistently recommended. There are a lot of posts that make me close my browser though. I think more focus needs to be on helping each other rather than bragging.

If you are new here and already realize that then you are well on your way. Even Mods and EC's can give advice that runs counter to the principals. Sometimes there is a meaningless post with 1 comment out of 20 that provides you with some sort of value. Insight, motivation, reconfirmation, etc. It's not a cheat sheet, Pook warned of becoming a subject of Manual, and automoton, scripted and hollow.
There are extremist, there are people tasting the pill but not swallowing it and everything in between. Part of the teaching are supposed to be esoteric , rule #1 even is sort of ambigious. I took that as never mention TRP/the manosphere by name until they show interest. Now I am leaning towards never naming it, ever. I will talk about the concepts and reasoning behind it but even then only with people I trust. If you are interested in this kind of shit, you WILL find the red pill. I found it while trying to self diagnose for being semi "unattached", landed on narcissism, read about how they attract BPD, from reading about BPD I think Lucifer Daughter or some crazy shit came up, then TRP., on a separate computer not linked to my identity I found it after reading a shitload about behavioral and evolutionary psychology, though I can't remember the chain exactly. Many many guys find it searching "how to get your Ex back" or something directly related to the social dynamics of the male and female.
Sorry OP, the community that preaches working towards your goals is going to make you work.

TRP used to allow blog posts and articles to be posted, and then the mods changed the rules to self post only. This was like 2 years ago, and that's about when I stopped contributing and paying attention. I thought the subreddit was still going strong, but took a look today, and at a glance, not a single post was above 100 points. There used to be thousands of people contributing, even if just to comment.

"red pill" has been a phrase in common usage amongst online communities for a while, each with their own meaning. TRP is about male improvement and sexual strategy for men. "red pill" in image board culture has meant dishing out crazy "facts" which may or may not be be true.
Example:
Let me redpill you on Coca-Cola, New Coke. New Coke was introduced with Coca-Cola knowing it would flop, just so they could release Coca-Cola Classic, which was regular Coca-Cola, except for they replaced the sugar with corn syrup. New Coke was all a ploy to fatten up Americans and give them diabetes in order to make the population more dependent upon the system.
That is just some crazy bullshit I made up, but that would be a "red pill" on image boards like 4chan. There's a lot of crossover between 4chan users and T_D, so the language carried over.

I'm definitely not red pilled on women. I don't know what they want, but I do know that what they claim they want and what they actually seek out are different ends of the spectrum.
The only reason I'm not a redpiller is because I pretty much gave up on women. If I want to fuck, these a couple of girls I could call up, but I'm done with all the drama. Women, and the game, just stresses me out.
TRP and the subreddits that branched out of it just showed me that maintaining a relationship is almost a full time job. Or you could go full cuck and let your woman just walk all over you and then leave you when she's done wrecking your life.

I used to browse when it was about 25k subscribers. It's gotta be around 4 years ago. I didn't feel comfortable commenting consistently until 2 years in. It was a gold mine back then. I noticed the number of novices increase, they turned into lots of moderately experienced people who mimicked the tonality and moral code of the founders with some great contributers sprinkled in. They were good. We just keep getting batch after batch and now that the floodgates are open this is no longer a place to learn. Sidebar hasn't changed, but otherwise it sucks... Of course, after 4 years I've bled the subject dry.

Been here pretty much since it's started. A lot of the original posters have left or are otherwise not available to write anymore and a few others try to take the mantel. I remember a guy called Devildriver who made some pretty good FRs, he was considered the best LTR guy. Gaylubeoil one of our relics by this point. I agree with some aspects of the alt-right, but not enough to call myself alt-right. Also, I wouldn't call TRP alt-right. Even Muhammad Ali believed that black men should stick to black women and white men should stick to white women, but I disagree with that sentiment and feel like race shouldn't be a deal breaker in the sex and relationship game. If you want to stick to only your race, I wouldn't have a problem with that either.

After some time it gets harder to create something new to post. you have lots of posts with the same message but with another words. People get bored of it.
