What to study?

I think people are born with certain skill sets. Some people are good at abstract thinking, and stuff like math or microscopic things, and other people are artistic and better at social things.

An abstract thinker would probably do better in science, and a social type person would do better in a sales type job. There's lots of variation in between, but just take a moment to think about what you're naturally good at and expand on it. Don't just pick something you think will make you rich and popular, you want to play to your strengths.

I studied accounting, am now a CPA in the US.

people will tell you STEM, but loads and loads of (white) men are getting 'diversified' out of the field.

doesn't matter what color your skin is, or what genitals you have... if you can't pass the CPA exam, you can't become a CPA.. no affirmative action for us

What should I study?

Find a compromise between:

What pays well
What you enjoy
What you're good at
What the world needs

The best satisfaction comes from getting all four... if you can get the first three then that's good. If the first two then that's a good start. If just the first then sure, that's fine.

It's a compromise. STEM is awesome if you're good at it and like it. If not then think again. Economics and business too.

I’m in business analytics. Starting salary in NJ is 90k a year. After a few years the average is around 115-120k per year.

Get an associates in engineering at a community college. That way you can be working in 2-3 years then when you are ready you can go back and finish your degree and a company might even be willing to pay your tuition.

You need to think about grad school. Pick a topic you like your undergrad and go to grad school. I’d recommend political science, it’s interesting and you can read up on philosophy that will actually help you understand red pill theory and how we got to this messed up state, and then go to law school. Go into a trade for a while, mature into a man. Then come back to school if you want. If I could go back that’s what I would have done.

I'd definetly major in engineering or something thats IT based. Engineering offers a variety of opportunities globally while IT can be definetly beneficial in terms of the upcoming automation craze.

I just graduated (I'm Dutch) and I'm going to the university of Eindhoven (TU/e) next year, so I know what you're going through. I started looking at studies 3 years ago and I hope you did too because this is what's important in finding a study: -you need to be interested -you need to be talented in the topic -you need to know if it's worth it

Ordered from most important to worst, for example if you're doubting between 2 studies to which the first 2 apply equally you see which will earn you the most in the future on economical and personal level. But for all this, you need to know what you're choosing.

Look, you can always make a wrong choice. Just be sure to make one on your own, because we can't do it for you. I hope you'll make the right decision.
