Any contact rekindles their hope. If they get zero contact, zero reaction, zero communication they gradually give up.

Tell her "go away" will trigger extreme reactions to maintain contact, including false rape accusations. I would advise contacting the police on non-emergency as they have a lot of advice on this. An ex had problems with a former boyfriend stalking her online and she had a chat with them and it made her feel 100 times better. They created a record of her call and took the information.

You should do this so that if something happens like she phones your boss and tells him you raped her or something you can point him to the police report you filed, and the texts you have kept+screenshotted+archived as evidence.

I would buy a dozen roses and go to her car and tell her that I've been super busy at work but I'm going to quit so we can spend time together.

And then I'd tell her that she's the only thing in my life that's keeping me from killing myself.

Then I'd finish by asking when I can move in with her.

Creepy af. Stalking you outside of work shows serious mental instability and she could very easily be capable of a lot of bad things, including false rape allegations. You should listen to the other commenters, definitely let your local police know so that there is a record before she can pull anything. Seriously, dont risk it. You definitely stuck your dick in crazy without realizing it. If you see her do this again, you NEED to be proactive and get documented support on your side just in case she pulls some wackjob shit. Which, by her immediate crazy behavior, she is very clearly capable of.

You dont need to file a restraining order yet or call the police on her, but call and tell them what happened and you just want it on the record in case anything escalates. She could start calling your work and fucking your life up as well. Hopefully she moves on but this is stage 1000 clinger if she’s stalking you at work already bro. I instinctively think that a restraining order or anything of the kind would be little premature...All her text messages has a tone of optimism in them (nothing creepy or resentful YET) “i miss you” “hope you had a great day” etc !

but prior to my Uber ride with her, she had no idea my workplace even existed.
